Unions and Professional Organizations
Being a member of a Union or Professional Organization is the best way to pursue a life long career in the Entertainment Industry. By becoming a member, you can usually get insurance, health benefits, protected pay rates, and set hours. If you are not in a Union, you risk employers taking advantage of your skills and time. Most Unions require annual fees and high entrance costs.

Temp agencies
Going through temp agencies helps you find temporary and almost immediate work. This is the ideal way to pay the rent in between jobs or productions. Most temp jobs will be office related so work on your typing skills. Try to stay with Entertainment Temp Agencies so you can continue to work in Studio related jobs. Remember, this is not permanent employment; availability will change daily.
For Temp Agency listings, please visit the Coast To Coast Key Cities: New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Atlanta, London, Toronto & Sydney.
