Emotional Editing: Making Films That Sing and Dance

Learn how music and graphic design are used in an editing room by editors. Through their creative work, editors help infuse mundane material with energy and excitement. Examples of student work from a Radio-Television-Film "Introduction to Editing" class.
"Flow" Journal and the Benefits of Online Publishing

"Flow" is the online journal of television and media studies introduced in 2004. Join researchers, teachers and students to see articles and discuss the changing landscape of contemporary media at the speed media move.
Learn to Edit

Learn basic video editing using Final Cut Pro software. In a workshop led by Radio-Television-Film (RTF) instructor Anne Lewis, you will use the same software, techniques and sample footage used in advanced RTF undergraduate classes.
Lights, Camera, Action: Shooting a TV Drama

Watch Radio-Television-Film students on a "live set" as they rehearse and film a television drama in a three-camera format.
New Media Art Presentations

Scoring for Film with Computer Software: A Working Demonstration

The latest techniques used by professional film composers. Music and Radio-Television-Film Professor Bruce Pennycook will illustrate aspects of timing, instrumentation and audio mixing of musical materials for a short film clip.
